[Vwdiesel] Turn signal erraticness (fwd)

Old style fuse/relay block (A1/A2?)?  Water damage?

Today my Rabbit Pickup turn signals started blinking to an odd  speed, then 
wouldn't blink, now flickers.   Bulbs are all good, 4-ways  do the same and 
at the same time, I'd started hearing a relay fluttering, under  the dash. 
It was the TS relay.
Anybody have something similar  happen?  Experience is a great time saver 
over start-from-scratch  troubleshooting!
