[Vwdiesel] TDI tires

Tell me about it.  stupid new passat has 17 inch rims... utter foolishness.
keeps me buying winter tires in goofy sizes, even the dealer screwed up and
put the wrong size winters on.
The tire shed is half full of stuff I can't use any more- old blizzaks, etc.

Parent's Lexus suv has 19's on it.  The old farm trucks have 20's. 
I offered to trade old school bling for new school bling and get some
stronger rims on there for them, but for some reason they wouldn't.

Amen to that!  As good as a Rabbit does in snow.  They  tend to sit and spin
with "all season" tires but slap on even a worn out pair of  snow tires and
I'm moving again! 
  BTW, 13" snow tires or even summer tires, are getting hard to find  in
this era of 17" rims!
