Yeah, thanks for the recent thread on low coolant temps.   :-P  Yesterday I 
found that my Passat wouldn't get above about 180F  (whatever the  unmarked 
line is between 160 and 200), even on the highway,  with the heater off.  
Leaky thermostat it looks like.  Someone must've  jinxed me!  ;-)
