[Vwdiesel] cooking with exhaust systems

I actually met an engineer that was retired from JD that worked on the cooling systems. Back in the day while also farming the old JD's had a large radiator opening (and a lot used water for most of the year in them and they could handle it if you protected it from freezing). He rigged a way while plowing to cook hotdogs in another can that was set in the radiator water. On his RV in retirement (while giving JD plant tours) he rigged a way to have the RV cook for him with his coolant system as well on that. Seems more work then it is worth for me but some people have done it.
