[Vwdiesel] general brake question

that is amazing Tad, for sure they are getting thin.  If it is the MK4 Jetta, the one pad will have a wear indicator wire that will make contact and set some alarm off on the dash.  My front brakes had a little less then 1/2 left when I did the brake job at about 100K, but rear pads were almost completely gone by the time a really looked at them.
No wear indicator wire on the back, where you need it more than the front?  Can't have it all.
You must have changed rears at some point?

i've got almost 180k on my original front brakes... I imagine they are getting a bit thin by now. :)

ya know what, I may not have ever changes front pads, I know rear pads on these MK4's do wear out first.
