Thanks everyone for the info. Yes, it attaches to a device on the passenger
side fender well. It doesn't have a nipple on top, where I usually see them
on a Turbo. That sort of had me wondering, now I know why.
I ordered the kit from "Sam-the-diesel-man" on Ebay. I did some searching
through my Jetta file (I keep everything) and I ordered the viton fuel hose
from Mcmaster Carr. I needed to order some Audi shift linkage stuff from
there anyhow, so I'll be putting an order together from them tomorrow.
Thanks again for all the help,
Tony

Viton hoses are readily available on ebay and through a number of online
suppliers. Same for the gasket sets for the injection pump. The "pumpkin"
on the top of your pump was an atmospheric pressure compensator It should
be attached by some hoses to another device on the passenger side fender
well. Basically it worked the opposite of a turbo pump. During high
altitude driving or under conditions of deceleration, it would lessen the
amount of fuel being injected. Basically it was an early pollution control
device. Hayden
