Hi Folks;

                Perhaps it's time to hop down to your used oil supply. My 90
VW Fox with its 1.6 turbo diesel just took my wife and I on a little cruise
over the mountains (White Pass 5500 ft) and up to Wenatchee . Met up with
Loren and he did a little turbo adjustment for me (Thanks Loren). I have a
centrifuge from simplecentrifuge.com to filter the oil to 1 micron. I have a
second tank which holds 24 gallons and is mounted where the back seat in my
2 dr wagon used to be. A helper pump, plate heater, heated fuel filter, tank
switches and heated injector lines make it possible. One starts and stops on
pump diesel and then runs on the waste oil. I switch over after about 7
miles for the engine to heat up and back to diesel about 2 or 3 miles before
shutting down. My little cruise with my lady on Friday covered 480 miles
and I used less than 1 gallon of pump diesel. That makes it figure out to
almost 500 miles per gallon of purchased fuel Not bad for an old 1,6
