  Forgot my worst one!
  Drove the "new" Dasher TD to the ocean and back.  2 hours from home it started to lose power and 
heat up.  Headed uphill, we pulled over and coolant was low.  Dumped in our drinking water and it started 
spurting out the front of the head gasket!  We quickly limped it along, stopping at puddles along the way, to 
refill.  Made it to a phone in North Bend and called Dad to bring the tow bar it came with and tools to take the 
bumper off and install it.  
  Turned out the block had been cracked.  Both front head bolt holes.  It'd get hot and lift the gasket and blew 
the front right out of the gasket.  I'm just glad it didn't happen farther away!
