Well, right after I got mine done, they stopped doing the whole glow plugs, injector thing and just replaced the glow plugs and reflashed the computer. Whole point of the recall was to get the ceramic tipped glow plugs out of the engine before they broke and ended up trashing the head. You can call a vw dealer and give them you VIN and they can tell you what has and hasn't been done to the car.. Hayden

I am asking so I know how many things I can or can't put on my JD Cozy cab that I was able to mount my spare alt on. Might as well use it since I have it. I still am looking for the plug for it though if someone has one. Otherwise I will have to cut the only off my rabbit and use plugs inline to connect back in the spring since the rabbits are summer only in WI where the salt flies.

“There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle.”

“I do not know if the people of the United States would vote for superior men if they ran for office, but there can be no doubt that such men do not run."

“I cannot help fearing that men may reach a point where they look on every new theory as a danger, every innovation as a toilsome trouble, every social advance as a first step toward revolution, and that they may absolutely refuse to move at all.” Alexis de Tocqueville
