[Vwdiesel] Cruise on 04 TDI

Not sure if they stopped doing that, but on my 1985 Toyota 4Runner w/ fuel injection, as
soon as you hit the brake pedal, the ECU cuts fuel to the engine by stopping injector
pulses. Didn't really notice that until I added an air/fuel meter and you can see the
needle flip to full lean as soon as you touch the brakes. Fuel is restored when the
engine revs drop below 1000-1200 RPM. Normally quite transparent operation, but if you
accidentally have the idle speed set too high, your idle speed can lope up and down if you
are above the low RPM cutout:

And they cut the cruise control if you hit the brake or clutch pedal. And one other thing
they do that is a PITA is they "forget" the previous set speed if you come to a stop.
