[Vwdiesel] off topic: air conditioning-now brake light/noise

Tony,
  Yes,  so I should track down the little switch for the emergency
brake is what u r saying.  Good advice.
 I stuck an obd II code reader on it and got no codes, which may or
may not be informative.  I think there are things that aftermarket 
readers can't pick up and display.
