[Vwdiesel] off topic: air conditioning-now brake light/noise

Might be one of two things. If it has a switch on the e-brake handle, that switch
adjustment can go off a bit and make it think the e-brake in on just if the e-brake handle
jiggles a bit while driving. Had something like that in one vehicle where the brake light
switch was adjusted too close to the brake pedal. Hitting bumps in the road would vibrate
the pedal enough to make a little blip in that switch and that was enough to cause the
cruise control to drop out.

Other cause might be if the vehicle has a sensor in the brake fluid reservoir for level.
Some of those sensors are electrical contacts and if the level is too low or gets too old
(too much water in it), that can trigger the sensor and something that trips the brake light.
