[Vwdiesel] Top Gear

I think you are talking about a segment on USA series, where they were talking about how NASCAR started through moonshiners. (And doing their own "moonshining" challenges.)
Though Top Gear Britain has trashed plenty of cars, though usually they are pretty ratted out cars purchased inexpensively.
I guess my thought on it is twofold:
1) I decided that other than laughing at silly spoilers and such, I'm not going to worry too much about what people do to or with the cars they own.
2) Gotta have a sense of humour. Might as well have a laugh at seeing what happens when someone tries to turn a car into a boat or build a limo out of a 2 seat convertible, or turn a caravan (camping trailer) into the cabin of a blimp. I don't know about others, but I know that when I was little I imagined these sorts of things.
:)

Dave,
Is that the same show where they trashed a really cherry caddy
by crashing it on purpose? along w a honda and some other car?
I lost interest after that. I'm sure there are some entertaining
segments but I won't be watching them.
