Got any pictures.  Good to hear it is on the road.  I just noticed that my
EGT gauge stopped working. Now to trouble shoot it.

Well as of this morning, the GTD Jetta project is legal on the roads of
Texas!!!  I had it inspected and aligned and I currently have a temporary
tag on the car.  BTW I did reinstall the Scirocco rear disc brakes
(correctly this time).  This afternoon I hope to take it to the muffler shop
and get the exhaust system realigned.  I installed it laying on my back so I
have several rattles from the exhaust knocking on the bottom of the car.  I
did take it for a test drive on the highway and got it up to 70mph.  It
accelerates great and I never saw an exhaust temp over 600 degrees F.  My
oil temp stays just below 220 and the pressure is good at speed and at idle.
Now I just need to get the thing "lookable" it doesn't even look good at 30
feet right now.  Once I get the rest of the necessary roadable things done,
I need to attack that AC again.  Somewhere there is a leak.  Hayden
