  Usually a bad connection where the lead screws to the probe pigtail or carbon buildup on the probe itself!  A power wire brush makes short work of cleaning the probe.  Usually just releasing and then retightening the bolts/screw takes care of the connection.  I have the same thing to fix again myself.  Usually it's been the carbon.  Quickie with a hand wire brush didn't fix it and haven't had time to try again.

Got any pictures.  Good to hear it is on the road.  I just noticed that my
GT gauge stopped working. Now to trouble shoot it.
