A friend of mine down in Belize is trying to sell a 90 1.7l Diesel Westy
Joker (high top).  It is on the Samba and you can see the ad here:

He is selling it for a customer's family.  The guy who owned it overheated
it.  My friend Thorsten put on a brand new head and timing belt, etc. and
got it up and running again but in the meanwhile the owner got sick and
died.  So now he is trying to help the family by selling it for them.  The
van is currently down in Belize, Central America.  Not sure what would be
involved with getting it brought into the US (maybe some of you would
know).  It would be an awesome excuse to fly down to Belize, get to check
the place out, and then have a road trip back to the USA through Mexico to
bring this baby up to the US.  If you are interested you can contact
Thorsten directly through the ad or email me.  I don't know a lot about the
van, but I can relay messages to him for you.
