[Vwdiesel] Injection pump timing?

Here is a modification I recommend for the AAZ pump. There is a timing
retard solenoid on the front of the pump. Wire it to be powered full time
with the fuel shut off switch. Then re-time it as you would a 1.6TD. I
seem to recall .95 working well. That solenoid retards fuel timing below
2000 rpm for emissions. It also reduces performance.
