[Vwdiesel] Axle noise update, how does one treat the fuel tank

  Just be sure there's no old gas sludge and fill-er up!  Nothing tank specific for diesel other than a return line, which most gassers have anymore.

So the noise increased and it became obvious that it was an axle, though the 
mechanic felt it could be something else initially.I replaced it with a jetta 
axle i had from a parts car. this model year passat (90) did not come to the USA 
in a diesel form though the axles from a 91 jetta diesel do work, the threaded 
portion (at the wheel hub) of the axle does not come as far through the passat 
hub as it did on the jetta hub.
I have compared the 90 passat with the 93 passat and they're almost identical so 
barring some negative issuesl i will becreating another diesel passat. does 
anyone have a thought on how to prep the fuel take for the transition to diesel.
