[Vwdiesel] Water/Methanol injection

Hi Folks;

                My 1.6 turbo diesel that I installed in my 1990 Fox 2 door
wagon was running fine with lots of power but as always more seems better. I
investigated Water/Methanol injection which promised more power and cooler
EGT's.

I purchached a Snow Performance W/M injection setup that is boost
controlled. It starts injecting fluid at about 4 lbs boost and continues to
full boost which with my stock VW turbo is just under 10 lbs. I did increase
the quickness of the turbo spool-up last week by cutting out the muffler on
my 2.25 inch exhaust system and replacing it with a straight pipe. This is
all seat of the pants information but I'm sure the water/methanol injection
did in fact give me more power and I can keep my foot in the pump
considerably longer than before.
