[Vwdiesel] swap idea, has anyone done this

  Might be a tad heavy and slower than you'd like but the 1.6 can be jazzed up a bit for more acceptable performance.  
  I thought a 4-Motion Passat would be a nice one to do in diesel or take a 4k or 5k Quattro and put a 5KTD engine in it.  Even a Quantum Synchro.  :-)   Hmmm, 914 TDI???

I have found a 93 passat wagon that has the v6 5 speed trans. i would like to 
wap in a 91 jetta td, 1.6 motortrans. it appears that the engine/trans mounts 
re in the right position. also i thought i would use the jetta axles. 
ecause it is the v6, it has the 5 lug wheels.
