[Vwdiesel] steering rack boot

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll have to look again but I don't think that is the
piece I'm looking for. The boot I want is at the lower end of the steering
column. I Think I'll just rig something in place and call it good.

 at the end of my trucks steering column there is a boot
 covering the u joint. it is split
 and I haven't had any luck finding a new one. I tried
 autohausz.az and rock auto.
 does anyone know what the proper name for this part is? I'm
 thinking of just trying to
 cut up an old cv boot and glue it atop the existing w rubber
 cement and a few plastic
 ties. any thots or leads is much appreciated.
