[Vwdiesel] trouble-shooting TDi ABS system (also VAG-COM issues)

The ABS unit is just adjacent/below the brake res, it has a "big round
thing" (ABS pump motor?) on it.

There's a VagCom routine to help bleed the ABS, but if I were you I
wouldn't go messing with that without a better idea of what was wrong.

Does your computer have a "real" serial port(most don't these days)?  The
old style cables (knockoff or otherwise) don't do well with serial port
emulators.
