Val:   I have used the services of a contractor who provides radar 
based certification of speedometer readout/errors to challenge 
(successfully) speeding tickets.  That was a while ago.   Are GPS 
readouts now acceptable to courts as evidence?  There might be a nice 
little sideline for you as a consultant (there are a number of ways to 
play the game).
