[Vwdiesel] Pump going weak or cooking turbo?

I was thinking  a possible lack of fuel after a bit of driving, with my
heavy non aerodynamic westy I seem to be at about 75%-100% throttle most of
the time at highway speeds. The siphon part of the pump not keeping up and
the need of a low psi fuel pump as a lift pump?
