[Vwdiesel] Pump going weak or cooking turbo?

If you can't speed up at that point then yes but if you can accelerate then there's obviously more fuel available and the problem shouldn't be available fuel delivery.

I was thinking a possible lack of fuel after a bit of driving, with my heavy non aerodynamic westy I seem to be at about 75%-100% throttle most of the time at highway speeds. The siphon part of the pump not keeping up and the need of a low psi fuel pump as a lift pump?

The original engine in the pickup did sort of that as it broke in. Wrong head gasket so compression was WAY too high. It'd fight the injection pressure and lost power as it broke in and warned up.
Can't think of anything else right off other than a tight valve and that would have hydraulics. You could just rotate your cone and not notice it anymore. ;-)

More of boost and power loss minor but noticeable after a while of driving, stopped for dinner then it was fine for a while? The fuel filter is only 1200 miles old and the air filter about half that.

If by boost you mean the boost pressure rather than power under boost, check your air filter. If power is also low then check the fuel filter or for anything to restrict either, including exhaust. Check for leaks in any vacuum or pressure hoses (intake/boost tubes, line to fuel enrichment on pump, fuel lines, wastegate, etc.
Other than really hot weather messing with the thermodynamics of everything, it should be one of those...

Hi All! I noticed on my camping trip last week that after a while on the
oad my boost doesn't match throttle position as it did when first started
ff. My pyro hasn't worked and haven't the time to diagnose the issue but
y water temp was only 190f-200f even while pedal was mashed to the floor.
m kinda puzzled??? 95AAZ in a 82 westy
