Bryan, my son just chased down the same problem on a car that was brought into the shop with bad brakes. New hoses, shoes and master cylinder didn’t solve the problem, pump the pedal slowly and you could build pressure, panic stop and the pedal went to the floor. Finally they replaced all four wheel cylinders and everything worked great. Usually it is the smallest things that cause problems on Bugs!!!! Hayden
