[Vwdiesel] head gasket?

Anyone know if I can use the metal 1.9 AAZ gasket on the 1.6 motor?  I mean, if I am going to remove the head, I might as well put the best stuff back in it.  I already have ARP studs so why not a metal head gasket?  Thoughts?
