[Vwdiesel] head gasket?

If your engine is the hydraulic lifter style then it is a direct fit. If
it has the solid lifters then it will not work without a fair amount of
custom work.

I would give a big recommendation to using hylomar spray and doing a light
spray on both sides of the gasket, the head and the block surface. It does
an excellent job of eliminating the pesky weeping leaks around the oil
drains and the pressurized oil channel between cyl 3+4.
