I've pretty well settled with the insurance company.  The salvage value for my Jetta was $215.  That's not a lot more than I'd just paid for the battery.  So, I'm going to have it towed to my house where I get to enjoy parting it out.  Since I bought an 03 Jetta Wagon, I'm going to pull the drivetrain for spares.  Probably a few other parts.  I did have the thought that I should pull whatever bits are useful for a TDI conversion on the off chance that someone wants to eventually buy the works for that purpose.  I know the ECU and related harness and wherever the key sensor is need to come with the engine.  Does the instrument cluster also have to stay with the engine?  Any other parts?

I'm going to try and ignore the fact that Dad has a couple decent MGB bodies lying in his barn.  Must ignore.
