Well, I called the Audi dealer just to get a price on that seemingly
useless pipe, and found out that it costs $66.30 w/o tax. $66 for a 
useless pipe that doesn't go anywhere?  Argh.

I went to the hardware store and got a 45 cent hex plug.  Seems to work fine
to me.  If, for some reason I need to replace the pipe, I going back to
the hardware store and buy some copper tubing and shape it myself.
