Are you trying to locate the thermostat?

It should be on the right side of the radiator fan, towards the bottom end of it.
There should be a thermoswitch wire leading to it.  Unhook the wire, and remove the
thermostat with a socket/wrench (I am not sure what size, but I had to rent truck size
tools from my hardware rental store to remove the damn thing).  A replacement thermo
is availiable from the dealer for about $30. 

Refitting is reverse of removal.


P.S: drain the coolant before starting this proceedure
