          I think Audi phased out the second (turbo) oil filter when
          they phased in the water cooled turbo center sections.

          A much lower volume of oil is required with the water
          cooling.

          I retained the turbo filter when I upgraded to the K24
          S-4 type turbo on my 85 Ur Quattro. Oil temp dropped like
          20-30 degrees C!
