locking diff's in snow on Coupe Quattro

You might not be able to eliminate one or both FRONT wheels
from spinning along with the desired both real wheels
spinning due to the Torsen center diff. You really need to
have an open center diff to accomplish the intended effect,
          RWD-type handling and tail-out-under-power turns.

This is yet another example of technology reducing our
control, Torsen diff replace manually lockable diffs,
ABS brakes, the biggest joke of all -- so called
"traction control" where you actually allow a computer
to control the throttle! UUGGGGGGHHHHHHHH! But I
          digress.....

No, I don't know how to get the desired effect if you have
a Torsen rear diff. Only the older cars can be setup
like this so far as I know.

          ps David, I still have my '73 Firebird, RA-IV 455 HO +.030,
Doug Nash 5 speed, fiberglass nosepiece & hood, compl rest,
custom interior w/Corbeau seats, etc. Learned to drive in
          the snow in a positracion '65 Tri-Power GTO & the '73 'bird
