Chip HP upgrades

According to Superchips (407-260-0838), they don't have anything for my Coupe
so I don't have details.  Their ads in EC claim +22HP for "Audi 80/90 & v6",
195HP for 5000 Turbo, 265HP for Quattro Turbo & S-4, and +35HP for Audi V8.

Intended Acceleration (206-754-1411) has an ad that claims "add 60+ HP to your
5000/200 Quattro or Turbo."  When I called them last year they didn't have
anything for my Coupe either, only turbo cars (has this changed)?

The other place I tried is TAP (Total Audi Performance), Tel 904-683-3000
Fax 904-683-2278.  The spec sheet they sent me lists the following gains:
(use your own judgement on these, I'm merely quoting their factsheet)

Audi 100 2.8V6 & Quattro        up to +22HP
Audi 90  2.8V6 & Quattro        up to +22HP
Audi 80  10v & Quattro          up to +16HP
Audi 200 Turbo & Quattro        up to +65HP
Audi 20v Turbo & Quattro        up to +80HP
Audi S-4 Turbo & Quattro        up to +80HP
Audi 90  20v & Quattro          up to +17HP
Audi 90  10v                    up to +16HP
Audi Coupe Turbo Quattro        up to +65HP
Audi 5000 Turbo & Quattro       up to +65HP
Audi Sport 2.3 20v              up to +17HP
Audi 90 GT Coupe                up to +17HP
Audi 80 1.8L                    up to +14HP
Audi 80 2.0L 16v                up to +16HP

They also recommend adding a K+N air filter with the chip upgrade, good
for another +4 HP.

Anyone have any experience with these guys (or any chip upgrades)?  I
presume these numbers are slightly exagerated and you might gain less,
but how much?  What can *really* be expected from a chip upgrade?
