I have Goodyear Eagle GAs on my 100CS and am extremely happy with
them. Other than quietness and ride, they probably do not excel in any
one category, but are excellent all-round performers. Wet/dry/snow
traction is excellent, turn-in is sharp, with no tendency to
wander--basically they're point-and-shoot tires. Steering feel is very
good.

They seem to be good for at least 40K miles, possibly more with
primarily highway driving. They're also relatively inexpensive.
Definitely one of the best "compromise" tires I've sampled. They also
seem to be very good in terms of roundness and balance, as well as
resistance to flat-spotting. The only thing nasty about them is that
their inflation pressure varies wildly with temperature, so I have to
check and adjust it frequently.
