good numbers to bear in mind is that the S4 produces 2.15 bars of
stock boost (1 + 1.15 if you will) for 15 seconds, while IA makes a
0.8 bar kit for the 5000/200. (anybody has one?)
1988 F1 cars made 2.5 bars; 87 cars made 4 bars!!!
the original quattro sport also made around 1 bar (1 + 1, that is) and
various 911 turbos made less than that stock..
the stock boost level in the S4 is among the highest in any production
car that i know of.. anyone know of more highly pressurised engines?
how about the saabs and the lancias? or the cosworths?
