Re: replacing control arm bushing and struts




I got the same model and year as you.... 86 4000 CS... had a knocking
sound when ever I apply the brakes... other than that no problem....

My steering doesn't shake or rattles.... the struts are good (as far as
the Audi dealer in LA, Cal can tell)... since then drove it more than
2000 miles.... to get home to Iowa....  lately the thumping noise when I
brake got a little louder.....
