Control arms - SUMMARY

Well...

The job is done and I'm $338 poorer. <sigh>

The good news is that it was definitely necessary. The symptoms I was having
was a steering wheel "flutter" at about 40-50mph. It wasn't terrible, but
noticable. It was very subtle, but I thought it might be an omen of things to
come.

Turns out that new control arm bushings have done:

1) reduced the amount of shock xmitted to the wheel over bumps
2) tightened the front end feel considerably, doesn't feel loose or floaty
3) reduced the amount of front end roll, making turn-ins much faster and
smoother, lane changes are a breeze.

The breakdown is about as follows:

Front end inspection $27
Parts $98 (bushings $86, eek)
Install Labor $120
Alignment $79
Rotate Tires $14

The numbers add up, so oh well.
