I don't know how much help this will be, but on my Nissan Sentra, when it
was in an accident, the door got stuck locked. After some playing with
it, taking the inside door trim off and stuff, and getting at the lock
mecanics, I wasn't able to open the door. So as a last resort I took a
pair of vice-grips and pulled real hard on the button. What do you know,
it worked. The lock is still a little sticky and freezes up easier the on
driver's side. But that do you expect when a Ford plows through a
Japanese car. Good luck with your door!
