The window motor on my 4000 failed repeatedly for a while. I took
the door panel off and pulled the whole assembly out, then rebuilt
the motor and transport assembly completely, taking care to put
a lot of grease in there to prevent water from getting in there.
It hasn't failed for 2 years now.

I was quoted something on the order of $300 for a new power window
assembly by a local foreign car parts dealer.

Seems that as moisture gets into the transport/motor assembly rust
builds up and the motor simply won't turn.  

Door handle on one of the rear doors on my 4000 broke in my hand.
Have been living with it since.
