You are correct. In fact, there is no A4 this year. It will replace the
80/90 as a '96 model. Also, I'm not sure they are offering turbos this year
(don't quote me on this).
Other corrections to Andrew L. Duane's comments:

Not true. Mercedes offers both wagon and AWD versions of the E class. These
have been offered with the 3.2 liter six.

I believe if it is not a turbo, the only engines offered are with V-6. The
turbo's were (I think) still based on the I5.
Finally, Audi doesn't sell (in the states, anyway) a V8 (now A8) wagon.
