check current pricing.  The Valentine ads say
    V1 radar locator.......................$329
    V1 radar locator w/laser detection.....$399
    Stealth Kit (Concealed Display).........$69

The stealth kit has a separate display (a part from the one on the unit.  It
can be mounted on the dash or in a another location, similar to remore
detectors which use a grill mounted head unit.  The V1 unit is still mounted
inside the car, but remains dark.
