Re: File compression...



It was compressed with gzip.  It's a becoming a very popular format.  Look to
see if a program called "gunzip" is installed on your Unix system.  As I
understand, gzip is compatible with PKZip of MSDOS fame.  If this format poses
a problem, see if Dan Simoes can just do a standard Unix "compress" on it.
