Just to clarify a point on jammers; passive jammers are *NOT*
transmitters and do *NOT* trigger radar detectors. Passive jammers
utilize a highly efficient reflector and inject noise into the
reflected signal that prevents the radar receiver from locking on to the
reflected signal. The
phenomena called "punch through" occurs when the vehicle gets close
enough to the radar
unit that the reflected signal from the vehicle gets stronger than the
signal+noise from the passive
jammer/reflector and allows the radar unit to lock on to the signal
returned by the vehicle.
Simple.....elegant.....legal.....FUN!
