Yep, I have a good mechanic that charges fairly. In this case, he said he felt
he shouldn't charge the full 3 hours. If anyone in the Bay area is interested,
it's Art Stange Foreign Car Service at 415/967-8120. Ask for Denny and tell him
I sent you. He works mostly on VW and Audi cars. Nope, I'm not affiliated. I
just give him my $$$.
