Interesting observation:

My speedo used to waver quite a bit, often 5mph or so. Very annoying.
A new lower speedometer cable (trans to OxySenseLiteBox) cured 90% of
the waver - what was left was hardly worth mentioning. About three
months later (last Friday...) the speedo quite working completely. The
upper speedo cable (the "expensive" one) kroaked/seized up solid, and
took out the lower one with it. G($#^&@#%)_F**K*&^&$%@#*

A new one-piece cable (trans to speedometer, OxySenseBox gone) and the
speedo is solid as a rock.

Cruise control still doesn't work worth shit, though.
