Scanner world in NYC, where I bought mine, has it for $149.95.  They advertise
in the back of AutoWeek, which I don't have handy here at work.

I find it marginally useful.  I works on the re-transmitter that cops use when
they are going to be stopped for a long time.  I've been burned by two
moving troopers, and one stationary lurker, indicating that they don't have the
bloody retransmitter thingees turned on at all times (as the *should*!  I mean, 
If you can't trust the cops, who ya gonna call...?)
