Treser ur-quattros and intercoolers




Here is some information from articles I have on the Treser enhanced 
ur-quattros :
 -hp raised from 200 to 250
 -torque changed from 211 lb-ft at 3500 rpm to 272 lb-ft at 3500 rpm
 -redesigned camshafts from Schrick
 -larger valves
 -polished intake and exhaust ports
 -increased compression ratio from 7.0:1 to 7.8:1
 -increased boost pressure from 12 to 14 psi
 -turbocharger unchanged
 -exhaust unchanged
 -wastgate setting altered
 -K-Jetronic airflow meter replaced with one designed for the Porsche 
928/Mercedes V8s
 -larger intercooler mounted nearly horizontal with cooling air ducted from 
the front air dam
 -longer fifth gear

The body changes include :
 -redesigned front valence/spoiler
 -redesigned rear valence
 -wrap-around rear spoiler
 -Treser designed cast alloy wheels in  7in by 390mmTRX size

Suspension modifications were :
 -stock springs lowered to reduce ride height by 20mm
 -firmer Bilstein struts

Interior mods were:
 -Treser designed steering wheel
 -Treser designed instrument panel with all analog VDO gauges
 -re-designed seats with special Treser upholstry and larger side bolsters

He also produced a Treser quattro roadster.

In addition to the ur-quattros, he also modified 5000/200s and 4000s. I know 
of a few Treser 4000 quattros in the US. These have suspension and body 
modifications, haven't heard of any with engine mods.
