Gee, all this talk about thermogoddamics is bringing back memories of my
college days.  Unpleasant memories, at that.

Pressure-volume work = P*delta V.  If the fluid is imcompressible then 
delta V = 0 and P*delta V also = 0.  

Boy do I not miss those days from 1957-58!  Work compressing the fluid = 0.

The work being done is strictly the work being done comporessing the trapped
air in the pressure accumulator and pushing the hydraulic cylinders around
plus what is required to overcome friction losses.  This won't amount to much.

Sorry - it all came rolling back after all those years.
