It should be easy enough to find out if you have a Volt-ohm-meter (VOM).
The one for the light will operate as a switch, i.e., on/off (should be
0 ohms with ignition on and engine not running, and open circuit with
engine running) and the terminal for the gauge will show a varying
resistance as the engine RPM (and oil pressure) varies.
